So I'm starting a new semester with our illustrious homeschool ~ and this one promises to be more fun-filled than ever before, with daily diversions online via all of those random but awesome websites...thanks to the many free homeschool resources, etc.
Lorenzo and Milla are doing amazing. We had a wonderful holiday, and a peaceful turn of the year, thanks to my family who all came up to North Dallas to invade our home for a weekend...and the week thereafter, for some!
Vadim is working as hard as ever, and we're eagerly looking forward to the end of our lease so we can move - AGAIN! This time, it's my life that's keeping us in this God-forsaken city. Otherwise, we'd have our spot in the mountains picked out already!
I really don't know who subscribes to this, but if you do, I sincerely apologize for the delay in my posts. What I can I say? At least I'm finally getting my proverbial stuff together! I intend to keep completely up-to-date on the significant events as they unfold in our entertaining and collective life.
My life can really be like a soap opera sometimes, with such drama and intrigue at the most surprising times, so I'm sure there will be plenty of material about which I can rant here for your reading pleasure! For starters, I'm finally taking the plunge with my own jewelry-making for a profit -- at last!
That, on top of homeschooling my pre-teen, expanding his social and extracurricular activities, potty-training a toddler, working a 'technically' full-time job from home, and managing a fully functional and superbly tidy home!
I have made a few personal adjustments to overcome insanity of late. These additions, most notably include my new good friend, Olga. And, I'm joining a gym...if only for the free 3-month trial (Thanks, Alex!). The Wii Fit I got for Xmas has been a lot of fun, and certainly challenging at times, but I would like something with a little more impact at this point.
I'll keep you posted on whether or not that works beyond the three months, after all! In the meantime, thanks for keeping up with us! Happy New Year, and all that, as well.
